12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Wed 15th Jul 2009

Today, members of the public have been given the opportunity to ask questions to Jenny Willott, Welsh Liberal Democrat MP for Cardiff Central, for an on-line forum hosted by yoosk.com.

The public are invited to submit questions on any subject, and videos of Jenny's replies to those questions asked so far have been posted on Yoosk.com today. Other questions will be answered online.

Jenny Willott MP said:

"This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the public through new media.

"I have always made myself available to answer questions about the big issues of the day, and today I have had the chance to address topics including the DNA database, the role of women in politics, and the future of the Welsh economy.

"My constituents have always been able to contact me by telephone, email or in person, but this is a fantastic opportunity to engage with even more people, on an even greater variety of issues.

"I hope other MPs will also take the opportunity to take part."
