More police on streets of South Wales needed to tackle fear of crime12.00.00am GMT Thu 19th Nov 2009 Commenting on today's Home Office perception of crime and anti-social behaviour figures, Jenny Willott, Welsh Liberal Democrat MP for Cardiff Central, said: "Over 80% of the public reckon crime is rising under the recession. "The best way to reassure is to put more police on the streets of South Wales to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. "The Liberal Democrats are the only party committed to increasing visible policing with more officers."
